The Cold Therapy Collective (CTC) exists to break down the barriers that prevent people from accessing outdoor cold water therapy and the communities that grow around it - bringing together an established and growing network of people, practitioners and organisations who believe everyone should have the opportunity to access cold water safely. As an Unincorporated Association, we are working to make safety-led cold water therapy more accessible, inclusive and sustainable across Scotland, regardless of someone’s financial circumstances, location, experience or social situation. Through education, professionally guided experiences, subsidised access and meaningful community partnerships, we create safe and supportive ways for more people to discover cold water. Alongside our practical work, we champion greater public understanding, support research and innovation, promote environmental responsibility and advocate for outdoor cold water therapy to be recognised within Scotland’s wider health and wellbeing landscape.
